Optional robust wooden side rails are designed to collapse below mattress level and extend higher when raised, accommodating a safe mattress depth of up to 205mm. This allows the use of deeper mattresses for improved pressure relief and overall comfort. The bed’s increased rail height further enhances compatibility with a wider range of pressure-relieving surfaces.

Key adjustments—including backrest, knee break, and platform height—are controlled effortlessly at the touch of a button. The bed also raises to a maximum height of 795mm, providing an optimal working level for nursing staff and supporting safer, more ergonomic care.

The Woburn side rail system features a deliberate two-handed operation: the rail must be slightly lifted with one hand and released with the other. This prevents accidental lowering and unauthorised operation by the bed user, making Harvest Woburn side rails among the most secure available.

For added peace of mind, the bed includes a comprehensive 7-year frame warranty and a 5-year warranty on woodwork and electrics.
